The Bureau of Aeronautics with the New Jersey Department of Transportation is currently updating the State Airport System Plan (SASP) which provides an analysis of each public-use airport and an overview of New Jersey's overall air transportation needs for the next 20 years. The Bureau of Aeronautics is required to produce a comprehensive and current directory of airports in New Jersey in print, electronic, and mobile application formats. The directory will include information from both the SASP and the Economic Impact Study (EIS). The directory will include maps of and information on the capabilities of each airport in this State. The directory needs to be updated at least once every five years.
